The dusk descends like a crimson veil upon me
Green leaves loose their colour as the night
Grows deeper and darker every passing moment
And with dawn, nothing will be the same
I feel the cuts as if it had been me
The pain is stronger I could ever know
I hear the screams inside my head
I see their smiles but can't interfere
She did see the lust in their eyes
But could not realize
They wanted to taste her fear
Now she lays covered in her own blood
Through the catacombs under this burned ground
Among the withering leaves of life I gather
My remaining strength and I shalt prevail
Let them taste the fear and the pain
I was forced to endure
And as I fell into darkness fury filled my mind
And as they fell broken and torn the blood stained the memory
Who would have known I could wield such force
To tear down an entire house stained with shame
This truth could only be revealed by violence
And so their screams broke down the terrible wall of silence
A sudden realization what I had committed
My whole world burned into ashes, torn to pieces
What ill fate brought this misfortune upon me
And then I understand, that fool was no one but me
I see mirrors laughing, the walls are closing in
This nightmare in which I am dwelling slowly, steadily awakes me
Illusions fade, hopes, dreams crumble
The dying echo of these empty words
The dying ego of this empty corpse
Imitating and mocking emotions I myself laid in grave
So much pain, so much pain, caused again and again
Oh why I am here
Left alone under the marks of ancient wisdom and splendor
No place to hide from the one who took it all away
No forgiveness nor salvation for the wicked soul I carry inside
feel older than the trees themselves
That have seen more I will see
Tempted to drown myself among these leaves
May they bury me with their gentle sleep
This act was purely selfish
I wonder if anyone will ever even know what happened here
For what lies behind the veil of misty morning
We all see in a different light

Dark symphonic Black Metal. The horrific ambiance totally fits to the concept and is really well executed. The sound production is excellent, the songs are efficient and haunted, the orchestrations are great... very good. Peacewalker

I was always intrigued by this group's choice of album covers, it isn't every day that you see high quality space photos in this genre despite the rise of "cosmic" black metal. But the music blew me away, this sounds like Austere took the atmospheric spacey route. (I will assume it's a coincidence that both bands are Australian) porcelainheart-

This album is one of my absolute favorite albums! I can leave it on repeat all day every day and never get tired of it. It's hard for me to put into words exactly how it makes me feel, but Angellore's music just puts me at peace and removes anxiety and depression from my mind. captaincreep
Russian duo leaven unbridled, blackened instrumentation with radiant melodies, their post-metal heaviness propelled by heavenly energy. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 25, 2024
